What do WIG and TIG mean?
Both refer to the same process: tungsten inert gas welding. WIG is the German abbreviation; TIG is the English one. An arc is formed between a non-consumable tungsten electrode and the workpiece under a shielding gas. Herdi provides TIG welding on stainless steel.
Do you also weld stainless steel at our plant?
Yes. In addition to fabrication to drawings, we undertake installation, adaptation, modifications and repairs directly on site. A welder can be on site in Europe in 3 to 4 days.
Do you fabricate to drawings or samples?
Both. We produce one-off parts and complex assemblies to your drawings, to a sample or directly on site.
